Delete your account

You can delete your Dandali account at any time, in two ways. Both remove your account, every child profile attached to it, and all associated usage data.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

1. 1. Open Dandali on your phone or TV.
2. 2. Go to Profile → Settings.
3. 3. Tap Delete account.
4. 4. Confirm. Your account is signed out and queued for deletion immediately.

Option 2 — Email us

Email privacy@dandali.app from the address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 7 business days.

What gets deleted

• • Your parent account (email, display name, auth provider link).
• • Every child profile attached to your account (name, age, avatar, language).
• • All usage data (story progress, downloads, listening history).
• • Push notification tokens registered against your account.

What we keep

We retain financial records for completed subscription transactions (receipts, invoices) where legally required by tax and accounting regulations. These records contain no personal usage data — only payment confirmation. They are kept for the period required by law and then deleted.

Timeline

In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Email deletions are completed within 7 business days. In both cases, all data is fully purged from our systems within 30 days, in line with our Privacy Policy.

Cancelling your subscription

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop billing, cancel the subscription in your store settings:

• • iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Dandali → Cancel.
• • Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Dandali → Cancel.
